A hospital in Phoenix is seeking a BE/ BC Neurosurgeon to join their Department of Neurosurgery. The position is available due to expansion, the department Neuroscience Institute is growing.
This is a general neurosurgery position, the incoming candidate will have a mix of both brain and spine. The department will consider both experienced candidates as well as 2023 residents or fellows. There are currently 2 neurosurgeons in the practice, an endovascular neurosurgeon and a spine neurosurgeon.
The Group employs a hospital PA, one PA per attending, and a hospital/ float PAs. The incoming Neurosurgeon will have 5-7 days of call as shared with local physicians in the area; ER call is highly consultative; PAs take first patient call. Strong referral base exists; current neurosurgeons are booked out six weeks.
