A hospital in northwest Houston is seeking a Spine Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery. A spine fellowship or equivalent experience is preferred. The department will consider both experienced candidates as well as 2023 spine fellows.
This is a full time, hospital employed position. There is only one location and one hospital the candidate will work out of, he or she will join an existing practice of 2 neurosurgeons in new clinic space. The position is available due to expansion. The incoming Neurosurgeon will join two existing Endovascular Neurosurgeons to be the 3rd neurosurgeon in the department. Currently the Endovascular Neurosurgeons are doing spine, the incoming Neurosurgeon will have a mix of general neurosurgery with emphasis on spine.
The department is a very engaged and collaborative neuroscience team. This is a clinical position however the hospital has a Research Institute where clinical research will be fully supported. The facility will provide a competitive compensation package including salary, bonus based incentive, full benefits, and paid relocation. Texas has no state income tax.
