A hospital in southern Tennessee is seeking a BE/ BC Neurosurgeon to join their existing practice. The existing group is established and successful that is well respected in the community with a wide referral base. The practice prefers a candidate with 2+ years of experience.
The is a general neurosurgery position, the practice is looking for a candidate with a broad base of general neurosurgery experience. The office has been recently upgrade and has 3 exam rooms. The hospital has contracted neuro-monitoring service on call as well as experienced neuro-anesthesia providers. The hospital has 7 ORs, an O-Arm, Stealth, C-Arm, YAG laser, and the highest grade of micro-instruments available. There is a dedicated neurosurgery team which includes 5 neurosurgery RNs.
The hospital will provide a base salary compensation package as well as RVU based bonus, commencement bonus, CME expenses, relocation assistance, 401K, profit sharing, and PTO. The community is a diverse, well-educated cosmopolitan community with small town values. The location is approximately 65 miles from Nashville, Chattanooga, and Huntsville AL. There are 3 lakes in the area as well as a wide variety of hiking and mountain biking areas as well as golf, music, arts, and sports.
