Functional Neurosurgery Opportunity

A West Virginia university’s Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking a board-certified neurosurgeon to join the department in a full time faculty capacity. The department is seeking a candidate with interested in functional, and equivalent experience or advanced fellowship training in functional, DBS, or Stereotactic.

The department will consider either experienced academic neurosurgeons or 2017 fellows.  Opportunities exist to participate in a new and growing initiative, studying human cognition using invasive and non-invasive technologies.  Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials.

The hospital is a large, tertiary facility for West Virginia as well as neighboring states.  The organization has made many recent updates and provides state of the art equipment and brand new buildings within the facility.
