A private practice in central Georgia is seeking a BE/ BC Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join their practice. The practice will consider experienced endovascular neurosurgeons or 2022 fellows. The group is seeking a dual trained endovascular neurosurgeon. The practice has served the area for over 60 years.
The practice consists of 5 neurosurgeons, 6 Mid Levels, 65 employees, ASC Imaging Center, main office plus 4 satellite offices. Surgical volume consists of spinal, brain and stroke. The incoming endovascular neurosurgeon will work along with their current endovascular neurosurgeon, the endovascular patient base and referral network is well established within the practice.
The newly recruited neurosurgeon must have the qualifications and interest to assist in the development of the Comprehensive Stroke Program and also participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call (1:6 with new surgeon). The incoming neurosurgeon will operate at a 600+ acute care bed hospital with a Level 1 Trauma, Bi-plane operating room with a patient access territory from Savannah to Atlanta.
The hospital is one of Georgia’s leaders in surgical volume and has been recognized for excellence in trauma design and performance. The facility is currently a Primary Stroke Center and is moving to a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
