A hospital in Phoenix is seeking a BE/ BC General Neurosurgeon to join their Department of Neurosurgery. The position is available due to expansion, the department Neuroscience Institute is growing. This is a general neurosurgery position and experience in neuro-oncology, skull base, and/or trauma will be well-supported in the context of the general neurosurgery position.
Institutional support for those with functional interests willing to build a program will be made available. The department will consider both experienced candidates as well as 2023 residents or fellows. The Group employs a hospital PA, one PA per attending, and a hospital/ float PAs. The incoming Neurosurgeon will have 5-7 days of call as shared with local physicians in the area; ER call is highly consultative; PAs take first patient call. Strong referral base exists; current neurosurgeons are booked out six weeks.
