A Neurophysiologist owned neuromonitoring company is seeking a certified CNIM surgical neurophysiologist to join their company for a position in the Connecticut territory. The territory is in the Stamford/ Danbury area of Connecticut. The Surgical Neurophysiologist can live in Stamford, Norwalk, Danbury, or on the NY side.
There are 3 facilities associated with the territory. The company prefers a candidate with 3-5 years’ experience and requires CNIM certification. The tech will work 3-4 days normally (4 days on a busy week). The incoming surgical neurophysiologist will be doing mostly spine as well as some craniotomies, peripheral nerve and the occasional vascular.
Call will be shared amongst the surgical neurophysiologists, initially it will be approximately 1 week every 1-2 months, none of the facilities are level 1 centers, call will most likely be very limited. However for any calls that transpire the incoming tech will be compensated for call. There are opportunities for advancement within, this will be a W2 employed position.
