A hospital in southwest Michigan is seeking a Cardiothoracic PA to join their Cardiothoracic, Vascular and Endovascular department. The facility requires previous experience in cardiac surgery assisting and endoscopic vein harvesting.
Call for the incoming PA will be 1:4 weekends, it comes out to be about 13 weekends annually. The hours are typical 8-5 M-F depending on the surgery schedule and clinic days. The practice currently consists of three surgeons and four advanced practice providers. This position will be full-time, hospital employed, with an inpatient focus on surgical assisting, and with approximately 1/4 on-call obligation.
