An academic neurosurgery department and SOM is seeking an endovascular neurosurgeon for a position in the department of neurosurgery. The department requires a dual endovascular fellowship and will consider both experienced neurosurgeons with an academic interest or 2020 fellows.
The incoming neurosurgeon will be a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, the department is seeking a candidate with academic interest, including both teaching and research. The department’s research labs, headed by an outstanding PhD researcher, are equipped for in-depth studies of ischemia, neuroprotection, cell cultures, brain and spinal cord injury and molecular genetics research of the cranial facial skeleton.
Academic rank, salary and benefits will be commensurate with training and experience. All faculty appointments are designated as security sensitive positions. The department boasts a very large neurosurgery residency program.
