A hospital in northwest Arizona is seeking a BE/ BC Neurosurgeon to join in their physician community. The case mix will be heavily cranial and the incoming neurosurgeon will practice in a large referral area. The facility will consider a general neurosurgeon that has interest in cranial cases or a neurosurgeon with fellowship training in trauma, skull base, cerebrovascular, or neuro-oncology. The facility will consider both experienced neurosurgeons as well as 2017 residents and fellows.
The hospital is a Medicare-certified, Joint Commission-accredited, acute care facility providing 24-hour emergency service with full-time emergency physicians on duty. It is a state-certified ALS Base Hospital, authorizing medical direction and support of pre-hospital care providers, fire department paramedics and ambulance personnel. It is also a state certified Level IV trauma center. The facility offers a full complement of patient-centered, community hospital and regional referral services in most major medical disciplines and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is an active medical service component of the facility.
