A hospital on the Eastern Shore of Maryland is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurosurgeon with interest and expertise in both cranial and spinal neurosurgery. The facility will consider an experienced neurosurgeon or a 2016 resident or fellow. The incoming Neurosurgeon will have a general neurosurgery clinical practice in both brain and spine.
There are 2 neurosurgeons currently associated with the hospital. The facility has a Neurosurgery Program, the incoming neurosurgeon will join the oncology team in treating brain tumors, utilizing stereotactic radiosurgery for brain lesions. The Neurosurgery Program is also part of the trauma services team for head and spine injuries and part of the stroke team for hemorrhagic stroke as well as the Spine Center.
The facility will provide a first year guaranteed salary at a very competitive level, depending upon experience. Employee benefits including malpractice, health insurance, CME coverage.
