A hospital in southeast Houston is seeking a BE/ BC General Surgeon to join their physician community. The facility requires board certification in General Surgery. The incoming General Surgeon will have a bread-and-butter general surgery practice, however there are opportunities to build breast, thyroid, colo-rectal, gall bladder, or gastric cancer practices. A fellowship is not required, the current General Surgeons specialize in Breast and Bariatric.
The position is open due to one of the surgeons retiring in the next 1-2 years. Call will be 1:4 for the incoming surgeon. This is a clinical position, however the incoming General Surgeon will have the option to participate in the hospital’s research institute.
