A hospital in eastern Tennessee is seeking a BE/BC neurosurgeon to join its physician community. This is a general neurosurgery opportunity, with an all-adult practice. The practice has been established and a leader in neurosurgery for more than 25 years. The incoming neurosurgeon will enjoy a five-day work week. The hospital will consider either an experienced Neurosurgeon or a 2017 resident or fellow.
There is no trauma call. Call will be 1:4 and the incoming neurosurgeon will have rounds at only one hospital. The group has an in-office pharmacy and x-ray. All of the neurosurgeons in the group are board certified and trained in Gamma Knife surgery. The practice has a newly renovated office and is located steps away from the state-of-the-art Neuroscience Center at the hospital. Physicians have access to more than 1 million patients through a wide range of health plan types.
