A hospital in Horry County, South Carolina is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join their Team. The practice prefers a candidate with at least 1 year of experience, ideally in Orthopedic Surgery.
The department is large and call is shared, there is a lot of work life balance working with such a large team, the incoming APP will have 1:12 primary call, 1:6 group call rotated with the current APPs. The incoming APP will have a schedule of 5 days, Monday-Thursday 8a-5p, Friday 8a-12p; with the Orthopedic Surgeon Dedicated clinic days and dedicated procedure time (3/1.5, 2.5/2).
The practice is currently 7 Orthopedic Surgeons and 5 Advanced Practice Providers. The practice also has a dedicated orthopedic nurse and experienced surgical teams with over 30 therapists and the largest PT/OT cardio-pulmonary center in the market.
