Functional Neurosurgery Opportunity in Michigan

A hospital in central Michigan is seeking a BE/ BC Functional Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery. Both experienced Neurosurgeons as well as graduating fellows will be considered. The department prefers a candidate with fellowship training in functional, DBS, or stereotactic, or equivalent experience.

The position is available due to expansion. Lengthening wait times, increased demand for functional neurosurgery and the need for additional coverage. Functional neurosurgery opportunities are available through Gamma Knife surgery, deep brain stimulation and vagus nerve stimulation.

The incoming Neurosurgeon will have specialization in Functional Neurosurgery also with General Neurosurgery. Call will be 1:4.
