A hospital in Phoenix is seeking a BE/ BC Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join their Department of Neurosurgery. The position is available due to expansion, the department Neuroscience Institute is growing. The department will consider both experienced candidates as well as 2024 residents or fellows. The department is looking for a candidate to start in 2024.
There is currently 1 other endovascular neurosurgeon and 2 spine neurosurgeons, endovascular call will be 1:2. The Group employs a hospital PA, one PA per attending, and a hospital/ float PAs. The incoming Neurosurgeon will have approximately 5 days of general neurosurgery call per month as shared with local physicians in the area; ER call is highly consultative; PAs take first patient call.
The hospital is well equipped for endovascular including a bi-plane and endovascular suite, referral networks for endovascular are well established within the existing program and service line. The practice has a strong referral base, current neurosurgeons are booked out six weeks.
