A hospital in New Mexico has a job opening for a Neurosurgical Physician Assistant. The department prefers the incoming candidate to have at least one year of OR experience with experience with wound closures and assessing neurosurgery/spine patients.
Services are offered Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. An average clinic visit volume is 40 patients a month. The incoming candidate will first assist in the operating room, see outpatient/clinic patients, and see inpatient/hospital patients: consults/H&P/discharge.
The department is a multidisciplinary group consisting of neurosurgery and physiatry. The existing group is a strong group of three Neurosurgeons and one Advanced Practice Provider. The hospital is a Non-profit, community owned organization.
