A hospital based private practice located in south Denver is seeking a clinical Neurosurgery PA/ NP to join an existing neurosurgery group working out of one hospital clinic location. The practice prefers a candidate with at least 2 years of experience, ideally in neurosurgery or neurology.
The incoming APP will have a split role, it will be mostly clinic with some surgical/ call, and fill-in for inpatient as needed. The schedule is M-F 8-5:00. The incoming APP will work with one attending mostly, if the practice hires a second he or she will be working with two.
Graduate degree required for all NPs who were not already on the Colorado Advanced Practice Registry as of June 30, 2008. The practice is currently 5 neurosurgeons and 7 APPs.
