A hospital in Tucson is seeking a BE/ BC Neurosurgeon to join the hospital employed department. The facility prefers a candidate with spine interest/ and or fellowship training, however a spine fellowship is not required. The facility will consider both experienced neurosurgeons as well as 2022 residents and fellows.
The incoming neurosurgeon will have a general neurosurgery practice with a spine focus. The incoming neurosurgeon will join the existing neurosurgery group, the group is well established and collaborative. The position is available due to expansion. The program currently consists of 5 neurosurgeons with 6 PAs, 2 endovascular neurosurgeons with 2 PAs, and 3 OP neuro MDs and 3 OP neuro APPs.
General neurosurgery call will be 1:6 or 1:5. The practice currently has a complex spine neurosurgeon, the incoming neurosurgeon will have a spine focused practice with some general neurosurgery.
