A hospital in western Massachusetts is seeking a Neuro-Critical Care Physician Assistant. The incoming PA will have an inpatient practice that spans the facility’s Neuro Intermediate and Neuro Critical Care Units. This will include the consult service. The facility prefers a candidate with experience but will consider new grads as well. Experience and/ or training in urgent care, acute care, critical care, and neuro-critical care will all be considered.
The practice is currently a collegial team of Neurosurgeons, Physicians, and PAs that work well together in a supportive environment. The incoming PA will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students. The incoming candidate may build to surgery, however there will be no surgery required initially. The incoming candidate will work both day and night shifts, 7 shifts bi-weekly. There is tremendous growth opportunity in this position.
