A hospital in New Jersey is seeking a Neuro-Critical Care PA. The department will consider either new grads with training in Acute Care, Neurology, ICU, or trauma, or experienced candidates. The incoming PA will have limited OR time, surgery experience is not required and surgery assistance is not a requirement of the position.
The Neuro-ICU is staffed 24/7 and all PAs work 7:00-7:00 shifts. All of the PAs in rotation work 13 shifts in a cycle which is 3-4 shifts per week, approximately 50% being night shifts, there are also 2 weekends required for every 6 week period. The incoming PA will work directly with the supervision of the Neurosurgeon and Neuro-Intensivists.

The location is an up-scale community in central New Jersey, it is located approximately an hour from NYC and an hour from Philadelphia, and only 45 minutes from the beach.
