A hospital in central California is seeking a BE/ BC Complex Spine neurosurgeon to join their department. The hospital has an affiliation with a northern California academic department, the incoming neurosurgeon will be an adjunct professor with the university. The group prefers a spine fellow, or a candidate with equivalent experience. The position is open both to 2015 fellows as well as experienced spine neurosurgeons.
The incoming neurosurgeon will be a hospital employee. Call will be 1:4 for the incoming spine neurosurgeon. The incoming candidate will have privileges at one facility, a Level I Trauma Center. This is also a teaching facility with will provide teaching opportunities and participation for the incoming neurosurgeon, at the candidate’s discretion. The facility has state-of-the-art neurosurgery equipment including CyberKnife and da Vinci® Surgical System, as well as a dedicated Neuroscience Floor with over 50 beds.
