A Neuromonitoring Company based in southern California is seeking a CNIM certified Surgical Neurophysiologist for their LA marketplace. CNIM certification is required, with experience in spine as well as cranial cases.
The incoming candidate will work a 4 day work week averaging 35 hours per week. Call is shared among the other surgical neurophysiologists, averaging one week every 7-8 weeks and 1 weekend every 7-8 weeks. Call fees are paid on top of salary, as well as on any day over 12 hours. This is very rare and most days are 7-8 hours.
There is no travel involved other than the territory of the LA marketplace, most techs work out of 2-3 hospitals and always with one hospital location per day shift. This is a very realistic, flexible schedule with techs working 3-4 days per week. The techs get along very well and the company is seeking a candidate that will fit in well with the team. All cases are monitored remotely by a board certified physiatrist or neurologist. The company will offer a competitive salary as well as call bonus, insurance reimbursement, relocation, and a full benefit package with 2 weeks PTO and a strong 401k plan. Raises are also offered after 1 year of employment based upon merit.
