A private practice in southern California, in conjunction with the local hospital, is looking for a BE/BC neurosurgeon at their central California location. The private practice is the region’s premier neurosurgery provider, serving multiple areas throughout southern and central California. The practice is looking at both experienced neurosurgeons as well as 2015 residents and fellows.
Currently, there are no in-house neurosurgeons at the location. Neurosurgeons from other offices share call, and the location is a state-of-the art office building, with administrators and allied health providers on-site. The hospital is creating a Neuroscience Program, and the incoming neurosurgeon will also be co-director of neuroscience at the hospital.
The group is seeking a neurosurgeon with training or experience in spine. This will be a general neurosurgery all-adult opportunity, with emphasis in spine. The incoming neurosurgeon can also choose to build a sub-specialty program in addition to spine work, with the exception of endovascular or pediatric. There is no trauma call associated with this position. There is only one other neurosurgery group in the area, and there is much market share potential.
The hospital will offer a two-year income guarantee, and there is a two-year partnership track (to the private practice) with no buy-in costs.
