A hospital system in central New Jersey is seeking a BE/ BC Neuro-Oncology Neurosurgeon to lead their tumor program. The department prefers a candidate with at least 2-3 years’ experience, as well as experience in leadership or the desire for leadership. The incoming neuro-oncology neurosurgeon will have no spine call, he or she will have 1 week of general neurosurgery call per month which will be mostly cranial call.
This is a clinical position however there are academic affiliations available. The department is seeking a candidate to specialize clinically in neuro-oncology and to further grow the tumor program, however there are opportunities for clinical research and they are seeking a candidate interested in publishing.
